The ASYMCA Hawaii hosts events throughout the year designed to promote recognition, appreciation, resiliency, and child development within our military community.

The food we distribute is made possible through a partnership with the Hawaii Foodbank. Three times a month, we receive pallets of food from the Hawaii Foodbank to distribute at `Ohana Open Markets. This food can be fresh or dried produce. We do our best to sort and salvage items before distribution however, the Armed Services YMCA does not have control over the type or condition of food that is being delivered and distributed. Please carefully look over the items you receive before using them in your home.

Armed Services YMCA and Jack Daniels are committed to making this travel possible for those most in need.

Join Armed Services YMCA Hawai`i, Bishop Museum Planetarium educators, and Hōkūle`a navigator, Ms. Ka`iulani Murphy for “Navigating by the Stars”. Ms. Murphy is also an instructor of Hawaiian astronomy, navigation, and voyaging at Honolulu Community College and UH Mānoa. The evening will feature an introduction to Hawaii’s night sky and celestial navigation, and viewing of Mānaiakalani, the summer-fall Star Family.

The theme for this year's Spring Break Camp is "Makers make the world go `round!"
Immerse your child in a weeklong experience of hands-on activities, games, and challenges. From structure fabrication, to textiles and wearables, your child will leave camp each day with a sense of accomplishment and excitement.

Armed Services YMCA Hawaii's "Kokua Connection - Learning to Live Aloha" programs and events encourage curiosity and fosters understanding of Native Hawaiian culture.
A part of "learning to live aloha" means understanding the cultural significance of tropical plants, their use and history. This event features a guided tour of 21 Degrees Estate Cacao Farm and Hawaii agriculture, including history and an introduction to lush tropical plants and their healing properties, including many of the original canoe crops, and a mini honey and chocolate tasting.
